Renovations & Remodeling
Thinking about renovating your home or office space? We've been helping people make better use of their space as part of our promise to deliver the best quality electrical contracting to our clients. Our renovation team is on hand to help you plan, lay out, and execute the renovation of your dreams. Adding plugs, switches, lights, even changing circuit configurations to give dedicated space to your new equipment.
Here are some things to consider during your renovation planning:
- The electrical trade needs to be involved in three key parts of the project: planning, rough-in, and finishing in order to guarantee an optimal outcome
- Insulating and/or covering up walls before electrical work has been done inside the walls, could be a costly mistake that could result in having to open up newly renovated walls a second time in order to install wire or boxes for devices
- Not every home or small office has the capacity to install new equipment, if you are looking to have new equipment put in during your renovation, check with an electrician to make sure your service is capable of what you are trying to add
- You will need an installation permit from Technical Safety BC for most types of renovations, for more information check the Technical Safety BC website
